A Message from Amigos President & CEO Miguel Figueroa As attendees at our Annual Member Business Meeting and regular readers of our newsletter might already know, Amigos has announced a major change to member benefits – making our Live Online sessions part of the free continuing education benefits for members. This provides all staff at member libraries with free access to sessions from our continuing education schedule. This comes at a time when we know many libraries are carefully examining their budgets and considering changes in the larger environment. This is just one change – but it demonstrates the value of hearing from our members about the services they need. As mentioned in our last newsletter, Amigos is closely monitoring changes to statewide programs and services - and we hope that member libraries will reach out to us with specific concerns or areas where they see Amigos playing a role.
